Superior mayor declares new enterprise enchancment district director – Superior Telegram

SUPERIOR — The Superior Enterprise Enchancment District has new management.

Mayor Jim Paine, a member of the BID board, introduced to town council Tuesday, July 19, that Kelly Peterson of Superior will tackle the position of govt director.

After 31 years with the Problem Heart, the director of residential providers is planning to start out in her new position Aug. 8.

Mitch Routh, chairman of the BID board, mentioned Peterson’s expertise with group organizations, work expertise and imaginative and prescient for the enterprise enchancment district had been all components in her choice.

Peterson has served on the Douglas County Board since 2020.

Serving on the board of administrators for the Improvement Affiliation, Peterson mentioned that basically opened her eyes to the wonderful issues occurring in Superior.
